   ‘Tis a long walk back from the toilets to the front counter, once you realise you need to buy a pie just to ask for a key. About as far as you would walk to meet a French girl working in a remote roadhouse on one of those thingy visas.
   But the werewolf and headless Ms Haversham are worth it. Like that playground in Katanning, I reckon this roadhouse is one of the best in the southern hemisphere. Tom Robbins has nothing on this roadside attraction.
