Sticking with the emerging theme of Maylands drunkards, Budda Lala Land sends this superb bit of Cash Twon-esque signwriting. Were the B, W and S already there, and they had to make the other letters fit?
I wish the Heritage Council would hurry up and list The Pen, so we can finally get on with burning it to the ground.
“Right, we’ve done the B, the R, the O and the W. We’ll just have a quick a break and then we’ll get back into it.
Have they got anything cold to drink around here?”

The pedestrian council have also started thinning out the numbers of Pen patrons by allowing the zebra crossing at Maylands station to be removed.
I figure thats a win-win result

Zebra crossing has been reinstated. It is perfectly located in the centre of the two entry/exits, so that it is of no use to either.

Yes they need to fence off the convenient and natural crossing points if they want it used.

I’m reminded of how Derby Council used to drive a truck 260 kms to Fitzroy Crossing to dump a huge boulder in the middle of a shortcut, which everyone would then just swerve around until they arrived with another one, which everyone would then just swerve around until …
There’s probably a line of them all the way into the Great Sandy Desert by now.
