I had the vague idea that james Murdoch (of al people) had killed rugby league with Super League or something. Hadn’t really known that anyone had revived it or why they would. So it’s back is it?

Super League only had its own competition in 1997, (ARL still had their own), then they merged back with ARL in 1998, which formed NRL. Super League members were barred from playing State of Origin. You could Wikipedia it for better details.

Look, this is something I’ve always wanted to know, but rugby types always just laugh but won’t answer. OK, when two AFL kids go to the park, they naturally kick the footy to each other. What do rugby kiddies do? Run along next to each other? Or do you need 4 rugby kiddies before you can go to the park?
