    What’s the joke TLA?
I must be a bit thick today, but the point of this post evades me.

what’s wrong with “homes needed by homeless”? the sub-editor is probably some posh murdoch semiotics graduate corksucker forced to labour in the provinces until until until well fuck.

To an increasing number of egocentric and materialistic ‘big spenders’ it probably is news.
The arrant avariciousness of the 2 x middle income earner families complaining about a $10.00 a week hike in utility charges, whilst at the same time buying the latest in electronic gadgetry for every member, leaves me wondering about their reasoning ability, but not about their self centred “lifestyles”.

That’s in reply to TLA’s: “That homeless need homes would be news?”

Have you any concept of how fundamentally ignorant the general public is, shazz?
Prolly not, as your circle of educated friends and acquaintances possibly does not include the micro-minded average “Joe Blow”.
One really has to experience the narrow mindedness of ordinary ‘mug punters’, m & f, to appreciate just how limited their intellectual horizon actually is.
I get into a lot of everyday conversations with ‘normal’ people and despair of the future for the planet and it’s occupants.
It’s not about what they do not know or understand, but their total disinterest in the world beyond their immediate environments and ‘life styles’, accompanied by the opinion that what they actually know is all that is of value anyway.
          Sad.
