Weekend Worstoff 31

Kicking off with a melbourne worst from Meccano, which he submitted with the enigmatic title, “Worst self saucing.” AllI can say is “Where the Cunliffe waters, there water I.”

Where my cunliffe waters

Where my cunliffe waters

And there has been some feverish animal suit discussion recently, and Vic Demised saw this porker in town. He tried to get a shot in front of the sex shop (which he was just exiting I assume), but the pig wouldn’t play ball.

Get thee to a piggery

Get thee to a piggery

The cloven hand was a little disturbing no?

Another from paracleet via West Perth. This better be a knock shop.

Skink sends this clip from Teh West, saying, “I don’t even recall what the thread was about it neatly and succinctly sums up everything that gets our goat: apathy, ignorance and bad punctuation.” Skink, I love bad spelling and punctuation AND apathy.

And one more from Vic Demised, who loved this garden of platic plants in the city. Speaking of Vic, he’ll be appearing at The Laugh Resort Comedy Club on the Wednesday teh 19th. Looks like a big comedy night. Why not put a face to the name that has been 3 in a bed with Kiwis. Vic, feel free to add a comment on Wednesday reminding people. I may or may not be in the country.

“perths a hole who cares” -nice to know we live in a sympathetic orifice.

A hole in need is a friend indeed…

TLA, Vic – the North Freo Bowling Club is holding Crackerjack comedy nights pitting the best of comedy from south of the river against the northerners… shall I get back to you with more details?

I think I had my vcr serviced at that place once. Yes it needed a good service and it got one, very cheap.

Skink – jay zee cared enough to go online and post that. Someone who really was ‘who cares’ wouldn’t bother. To me it suggests someone in the slough of despair; or in Belmont.

I hope vic wears his Golden Breed shirt with the shell buttons.

I’m really disturbed by the pig pic. What is the anorexic young woman next to him advertising?

Doesn’t her shirt say WORST, and end with a star?

Is this a clumsily set-up TWOP product placement?

Cookster -the comic civil war thing sounds fun, if divisive. I’m just easing back into performing after a long break; have to see how my nerves handle it. One gig at a time.

poor lisa -I’m afraid the hibiscus flowers have long since fallen off that shirt. They were made of a special kind of silky fabric which dissolved on contact with sweat. Or maybe pheromone.

The pig and the skinny gel claimed to be promoting Hogs Breath Cafe nearby, though neither of them looked like they would eat there themselves.

I know I’ve posted this before, but some may have missed it. Besides, when you issue the imperative so politely, I can hardly refuse.

And someone had to post the video of Megan leading Santa astray to David Jones.

Frank, Santa in this clip is played by none other than Glenn B Swift, the performer you suspected, in our earlier discussion, of having played Percy Penguin. Glenn would have been in his element, I’m sure, with the glamorous Ms Gale. He wouldn’t have needed too much “leading” to go astray, I assure you. Onya, Glenn!

I’m pretty sure Gleen is also the general City of Perth Santa who dons appropriate summer Santa Garb, ie Fur Trimmed Shorts, and distributes lollies in the CBD, as well as rides the Santa Special Trains in the lead up to the Xmas Nativity.

BTW, did you check out those stuffed animal characters – talk about going through the motions.

    As this picture illustrates :-)

Frank, you are corect on both counts. Glenn has a magnificent basso profundo “Ho Ho Ho” as well as a great friendly manner and a wonderful ability to improvise. And nowdays he doesn’t need quite so much padding to fill out the Santa suit.
