God. Somewhere in the bible. (I’m not sure he would be getting the outcome he wanted by that course of action).
This neon sign is something of a Perth institution. I can’t remember a time when it wasn’t lifting to reveal the neon bottom on Barrack Street. I’m sure it was there in the early 80s if not before. Quite bizarre, but hypnotising nonetheless. I’m going to have to put it in not worst, just for its historical value. Sorry about the footage of my foot though. Despite (or perhaps because of) a decade or more working in video production, I just couldn’t be stuffed editing it.
I like the arthouse bit at the end where we see the red converse stepping towards the door
I think if you could get Christian Slater to do a Moses voiceover this could be a big hit

I, too, like the arty ending where the camera tilts downwards, almost expressing shame.

All my dad’s mpeg videos end like that too, but with brown shoes. Funny, I’ve never thought of him as an “art house” sort of guy. Dad is more of a technical genius…

You know, it still surprises me that this sign even exists in the middle of the city. The Perth City Council is against the new Waterfront Dildo building, but the neon ass girl is perfectly okay!

If it was a swan’s arse revealed by that skirt…

Barrack street used to be a lot seedier in the ‘good old days’ of the 80’s when the Railway Hotel used to have the early opener. I would walk past there each day on the way to work & look in through the front door – It was something like out of Dante’s Inferno .. But I can’t recall if Club-X was there then.

An art lover.
She Ra’s hubby knocked down bits of the Railway and had to rebuild the facade I think. There used to be a pinball parlour next dooe. Sex shop was there I’m pretty sure.
