On my visit to XXXXXXX bookshop yesterday, I came across a Tantamount greeting card about Armadale mothers. I live in Mt. Nasura located within the district of Armadale and I was highly offended at the nature of the card. I do not think it’s necessary to isolate certain suburbs/towns/cities with offensive stereotypical messages such as depicted in this card. What is there to be gained by such disrespectful material? What is your aim intended with this? I certainly don’t understand your reasoning for this subjective insult about a particular suburb. You and your co – workers, who obviously lack product information and imagination, need to visit the area and take a look for yourself at the many merits, socially and culturally of the district of Armadale and its surrounds. I and my family, would be very happy to escort you around.
I am a university graduate with a degree, (as is my husband) and I have spent most of my professional and personal life in the area for the last 28 years.
I suggest you remove the card off the market. I will be contacting the XXX XXXXX Bookshop with the same request and also my local member of Parliament. As I was with a few of my friends at the time who are also from the area, I will be suggesting to them to do likewise, which I know they will be more than happy to do.

I fail to see what all the fuss is about. Chantelle and her five kids seems to be well presented, even stylish (check Chantelle’s shoes; neither Ugg boots nor thongs) and a credit to the Armadale/Mt Nasura district, and yet she is shunned by her neighbours. Well done to Alex Manfrin for highlighting this serious social problem in our community.
