It may be my brain or the fact that the number of posts is now over 1200, but I was certain that I had posted this magnificent Lathlain letterbox consisting of a vcr lashed to a concrete flamingo. And yet I can’t find it. I know it has been sent to me. How could I have neglected such a superb mound of crap?It’s even got the number 5 on it! JaneZ sent the latest pics, including its recent descent into vanished worst status. This is the exact same concrete flamingo that I need to complete my own set, but I fear this one will never grace a bed of agapanthas again. At least Dominos keep stuffing the vcr slot.

Really Bento, it’s hard to know where to start. Have been oggling/wondering the decrepit flamingo letterbox all day … shame though that no one responded to JJ’s pun – what indeed has happened to us?

my bosom swells with pride. i almost forgot about this creation but it was probably the only thing i would look forward to coming home to whilst living at 5 bishopsgate st, lathlain. the gaffa tape really went to shit with uv exposure. should have just used more woolen yarn. i also strapped a doll with no arms to the top of the vcr but it was torn off and thrown at our door by a neighbour on the first night. sigh.
What’s the state of play now? Has it all retured to the soil?
