Well I hope wordpress auto post is working. If you are reading this Perth morning, I should be stumbling off a plane in Hong Kong slightly less cranky than normal, having flown Cathay for once instead of hideous Qantas. I will shortly afterwards be stumbling on to another brand of Chineser aircraft for a short trip into “The Big Green” as Hong Kongers call the mainland. Going to Nanjing, as in rape of, and Taiping rebellion. WordPress is generally blocked in China, so I might not be able to moderate comments as quickly as usual. I’m not sure what this picture of concrete lion and Chinese ciggies means.

Autopost working fine, TLA.
I think it’s either a more effective smuggling campaign or a less effective anti-smoking one.
The lion looks strangely familiar…
What is the cigarette du jour in Japan, Snuff?
As a non smoker, I can’t say I take much notice, DFOC, but I do see plenty of Mild Seven packs around. One thing I do know is that they’re dirt cheap here, at about a quarter of the price in Australia. Here’s a nice rundown on packaging design from 3 years ago.
Marvellous read, Snuff. You are the link-meister.
Hey, it looks like the feet of No 27 above! The simple message would then be, “smoking makes your nose drop off!”
or “If you smoke you could lose face”
