I believe the structure couldn’t stand the weight of all the f*cking Real Estate Agent paraphernalia. My single letterbox struggles to keep up with the weight, and it sits on a jarrah 4 by 4. That thing in the picture has 42 letterboxes, which roughly equates to 1.7 tonnes of “Just sold in your street…”, and “Do you want to sell your house?”

Seriously – if I wanted to sell my house, I’d call one. And why do they insist on slapping their faces on every piece of paper, bus stop, park bench and public bin they can? I don’t give a crap what you look like…

It has clearly been designed as a homage to passive solar design in our brave new world of eco villages. With its east west orientation and elevated solar pergola style ventilation system catching those cooling off shore westerlies and bringing the temperature of that hotmail right down to a readable level!!The plantings on the north face are no doubt deciduous thus allowing the winter sun to penetrate the letterbox windows,warming the mail to a comfortable reading temperature!! In all, an excellent and beautifully crafted peice of design, well done Curtin!
