Instead they allow for another 10-15 mins of walking to Swanbourne, risk and decline being invited in for a “couple more” (drinks, cones, lines?) by a bare-chested local whose housemates are also bare-chested (men of course – different story if it’s ladies), and join the other 20 people with half a clue who are willing to sacrifice the time of a little sauntering and the certainty of having a seat to sit in for the risk of gaining nought from waiting for god knows how long… Similarly if you’re heading to Freo – head back up the line towards Perth, and get on at KK. The walk ain’t that far.

And to be fair, Transperth did say there’d be extra services, but only on the Freo line.

Personally, I thought the hosts showered the Lazy Aussie with contempt. Who wants to sit around listening to two hack jocks trying to outdo each other with banal jokes and dumb comments when they have a ridgie didge comedian on the show as a guest?

Furthermore, why was he out in there with all of those other crackpot whingers? Do they have websites worth talking about?

An opportunity lost by JJJ…Auntie should bring back those Chaser guys.

Comparing o/s transport systems can be a
double edged sword.
A visit to Italy, Spain or the UK can really make one feel that Perth really is miles ahead in infrastructure development, especially when it comes to getting any intelligent information from the staff.
France or Germany on the other hand can really show us a thing or two.
